Type-A protection is defined by BS8102:2022 as ‘barrier protection’. This is where a material is put in place that offers a barrier to the passage of water with the aim of keeping the target environment within a prescribed level of ‘dryness’. Proficient installers of numerous Type A waterproofing systems including self-adhesive membranes, cementitious coatings, multi coat renders and sodium bentonite membranes.
We find the installation of Atal Bentofix to be the most cost-effective type A system. Installers are experienced in the installation of Bentofix can be installed in all-weather, which reduces delays and additional labour costs
